TASK

See every task. On its horizon. Drive to zero

TASK lines every commitment up on its horizon (today, this week, someday) and makes each one earn its place: do it, defer it, or kill it. Six views when you want machinery, none when you don't. Works offline on your phone.

red arrow = a blocker that finishes after its dependent starts. you see it before it hurts.

01 the point is task zero

Other apps let you collect tasks. Folders inside folders, someday-maybe lists that quietly become never. TASK does the opposite: it puts every commitment in front of you on its horizon and asks you to decide.

Do itcheck it off, feel the dither dissolve
Defer itpush it one horizon down the line
Kill itbe honest: it was never going to happen

Clear Overdue and Today and you hit TASK ZERO, the calm of an empty runway. As pain-free or as thorough as the day demands.

04 six views, one list

Horizons

Home base. Every task on its horizon, overdue to someday, with one-tap do, defer, or kill. The drive to task zero.

List

Status groups, subtask trees with dithered rollup bars, filters, and undo toasts instead of "are you sure?".

Board

Drag cards between status or due-date columns. Long-press works on iPhone and iPad, for real.

Calendar

A month at a glance. Drag chips between days; double-click a day to add something due then.

Flow

Your dependency graph, laid out left to right. See what's blocked, and what finishing one thing unlocks.

Gantt

Bars on a timeline, arrows for dependencies. Late blockers turn red before they bite.

Workspaces

Separate projects entirely, or see everything at once. Offline on your phone, backed up with one click.

06 why people keep it

It fights bloat

No endless nested folders to get lost in. Tasks sit on time horizons where you can actually see them, and nothing hides from you.

It forces a decision

Every task earns its place: do it, defer it, or kill it. TASK nudges you to deal with things instead of letting them rot on a someday list.

It scales to you

Pain-free by default: type a title and go. Reach for sub-tasks, dependencies, and the gantt only when a project actually needs them.

It respects your data

No trackers, no analytics, no third parties. One login cookie, your tasks in one place, and a one-click export whenever you want a backup.

It is fast & offline

A quiet, quick interface with no spinners to wait on. Add it to your home screen and it keeps working with no signal.

It has a point of view

One goal, stated plainly: get you to task zero. Not another inbox that fills faster than you empty it.

07 questions

Is it free?

Yes. Create an account and use every view. TASK is a personal-scale tool, not a subscription funnel.

How is this different from Things, Todoist, or Notion?

Those let you collect tasks forever. TASK is built to empty the list. It lines every task up on a time horizon and pushes you to do, defer, or kill it, so nothing gets buried five folders deep and quietly forgotten.

What happens to my data?

It stays in one database and goes nowhere else. No analytics, no advertising, no third parties. Read the privacy page for the specifics, and the security page for how it is protected.

Does it work on my iPhone or iPad?

Yes, and it is built for it. There is a proper touch layout with a bottom nav and sheets, drag works by long-press, and you can add it to your home screen to run it like an app, offline included.

Can I get my tasks out?

Any time. The Export button downloads a complete JSON backup, and Import restores it. Your tasks are yours.

Do I have to use all the views?

No. Live entirely in Horizons if you want. The List, Board, Calendar, Flow, and Gantt views are there for when a project gets complicated, not as homework.

How do I learn everything it does?

The user guide walks through every feature, from quick-add tokens to the dependency graph.
